Terms of Service

These Terms of Service set out the rules for using calvixo.site (the “Website”) to browse holiday offers and to request quotes or bookings.

1. Scope of the Website and availability of offers

All offers shown on the Website are provided for information purposes and may be changed or withdrawn at any time before confirmation. Prices are indicative, quoted in South African rand (ZAR) per person sharing, and some packages and services depend on availability with partners and suppliers.

2. Quote requests and booking confirmation

If you request a quote or booking, the Website may collect the details you provide (e.g. dates, number of travellers, departure airport, preferences). A package is considered confirmed only once we have sent you written confirmation of the specific itinerary and services. Until then, prices, availability and conditions may change.

For transactions concluded electronically, the Website makes the supplier information and terms required by South African law available before you conclude a booking, in accordance with:

  • Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, section 43 (information to be provided by suppliers)
  • Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008
  • Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013

3. Price, payments and exchange of documents

Prices depend on the selected services, dates and exchange rates at the time of booking. Payment terms, deposit requirements and any documents we need will be provided during the booking and confirmation process. The final terms set out in your confirmation will apply.

4. Limitation of liability

We do not control third-party services (airlines, hotels, attractions or local providers). We are not responsible for delays, cancellations or changes caused by factors outside our reasonable control. To the extent permitted by applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, our liability is limited to direct, documented losses.

5. Consumer rights, complaints and dispute resolution

If you are a consumer in South Africa, you may submit complaints or claims about your booking or our services, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under South African consumer law. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may refer it to the National Consumer Commission.

Relevant legislation includes:

  • Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008
  • Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (including the cooling-off provisions of section 44, where applicable)
  • Copyright Act 98 of 1978 (Website content)

6. Travel documents and entry requirements

You are responsible for holding a valid passport and for meeting the visa, health and entry requirements of every country you travel to or through. Requirements for South African passport holders can change, so please check them with the relevant authorities before you travel. We can share general guidance, but we cannot guarantee entry.

7. Personal information and cookies

Where the Website processes personal information, including identifiers linked to identifiable persons, it does so in line with the conditions for lawful processing, consent requirements and responsible-party obligations under South African law. Details are set out in our Privacy Policy.

Legal basis: Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
